ANAF and INA concludes oil transport deal for Rijeka oil refinery

Croatian crude oil companies ANAF and INA concluded on Tuesday (5 April) a contract for oil transport until 31 December 2024.

Under the contract, INA has reserved JANAF’s capacities for the transportation of 2.000.000 tonnes of oil, +/- 5 per cent of oil for the Rijeka oil refinery.

“We are very pleased to announce a new contract with our long-term partner INA. Our renewed partnership with Croatia’s biggest oil company is an additional contribution to the energy stability and independence of the Republic of Croatia, as well as a confirmation of our status as one of the key shareholders of the Central European energy sector and a reliable partner who is able to guarantee energy security to all parties involved,” said a statement by JANAF’s Management Board, headed by Chairman of the Board, Stjepan Adanić and Board Member Vladislav Veselica. “Our constant investments in the development of our system and the implementation of the most modern technologies and processes ensure our ability to continue providing top-quality services to our long-term partner, to our mutual pleasure.”

Separately, JANAF and INA already hold a multiannual contract for the storage of crude oil until 31 December 2025 which includes JANAF’s terminals Sisak and Omišalj.
