CEZ Group in Romania, a Romanian subsidiary of Czech energy company CEZ Group, has announced that it has changed its name to EVRYO Group.

The name change “continues the mission started 19 years ago in Romania, highlights the Group’s concern for a green future and puts the benefit of people, communities and the entire planet at the centre of all actions,” the company noted in a press release.

“We are proud to be part of such an active industry and to contribute to its accelerated evolution towards a green future, for the benefit of all people. We have been present in Romania for 19 years and produce green energy with the largest private generation capacities in the country,” said Ondrej Safar, CEO of EVRYO Group. “We distribute energy in a quarter of Romania, in the Oltenia region. We master the creative force of technology, a force that is now changing the world. And we believe that, beyond the infinite possibilities of technology, the most important form of energy is the energy of people. That is why, together, the companies of the EVRYO Group create energy for good. For the good of all.”

The EVRYO Group is made up of Distributie Energie Oltenia, Ovidiu Development, Tomis Team, MW Team Invest, TMK Hydroenergy Power and EVRYO Power. Among other operations, the company manages and operates the largest operational onshore wind farm in Romania, and operates Romania’s first floating photovoltaic solar energy system.
